Concrete Lifting in Lehi, Utah: Back in Use the Same Day

Lehi moves fast. Between commutes to Silicon Slopes, weekends at Thanksgiving Point, and new neighborhoods going up from Traverse Mountain to the west side, nobody has time for a concrete project that ties up the driveway for a week. That's one of the biggest reasons Lehi homeowners choose polyurethane foam lifting over replacement.

Utah Concrete Lifting & Repair lifts sunken driveways, sidewalks, patios, steps, and garage floors throughout Lehi. We're a family-owned company based in Mapleton, and owner Drew Hubbard is a licensed and insured General Contractor (Utah license 12877564-5501, B100) with more than 20 years of experience building homes and working with concrete.

Why speed matters: lifting vs. replacing

Replacing a sunken driveway panel means breaking out the old concrete, hauling it away, forming and pouring new concrete, and then waiting for it to cure before you can drive on it. Your yard and landscaping can take a beating from the equipment along the way.

Foam lifting skips nearly all of that:

  • Small holes. We drill holes about 3/8 inch across, roughly the size of a dime.

  • Fast reaction. High-density polyurethane foam goes in under the slab, expands, fills the voids, and lifts the concrete back into place.

  • Quick cure. The foam cures in 15 to 30 minutes. You can walk on the slab right away and park on it shortly after.

  • Clean finish. We patch the holes and walk through the work with you before we leave.

It typically costs 50% to 80% less than replacement, too. For a side-by-side look at foam and the older mudjacking method, read Polyjacking vs. Mudjacking in Utah.

"My house is new. Why is my concrete sinking?"

We hear this a lot in Lehi. Newer concrete can settle just like older concrete. Common culprits include freeze-thaw cycles (water gets under the slab, freezes, expands, then leaves gaps when it thaws) and drainage problems like downspouts that empty right next to the slab or sprinklers that soak the ground under it. If drainage is part of your problem, we'll point it out so the fix lasts.

Lehi concrete jobs we handle

Driveways

A dip where the driveway meets the garage, or a panel that has dropped at the sidewalk, is the most common problem we see. We lift it back into line.

Patios

Back patios that tilt toward the house can send rain and snowmelt the wrong way. Lifting can restore the slope away from your home.

Sidewalks and walkways

We remove trip hazards between sidewalk squares and along front walks.

Steps and garage floors

Settled steps and sunken garage floor sections can often be lifted rather than replaced. We'll look at them during your free estimate.

What it costs in Lehi

  • Typical sidewalk: $300 to $1,200, depending on length and other factors

  • Driveway panel: $300 to $800, depending on size and how much lift is needed

  • Steps, patios, garage floors, other jobs: Free estimate

  • Minimum job charge: None

A fuel surcharge may apply for remote jobs. See our Utah concrete lifting cost guide for everything that affects price.

Backed by a 3-year warranty

If a slab we lifted settles more than 1/4 inch within three years, we come back and lift it again (a fuel fee may apply).

Lehi concrete lifting FAQ

Can you lift concrete in the winter?

Yes. We lift concrete year-round. The foam creates its own heat as it reacts, so it can be installed when the ground is cold, as long as the slab is clear enough to work on safely.

Do I have to be home while you work?

Ask when you schedule and we'll work out what fits. Either way, we need clear access to the slabs: vehicles and furniture moved off, gates unlocked, and sprinklers in the work area turned off that day. At the end we review the work, ideally with you there for the walk-through.

Will lifting fix a cracked slab?

Lifting raises the slab back into position, but it doesn't erase existing cracks. We can seal cracks and joints with our crack and joint caulking service to help keep water out.

What if I have several problem spots?

Show us all of them during one free estimate. Price depends on the number and size of the slabs and how much foam they need. See more on our FAQ page.
